Bethel folks - for Thanksgiving Sunday [the second Sunday of October] we are looking to have a congregational participation service wherein people share testimonies of their thankfulness to God for His goodness, for specific gifts and blessings and even for trials - be thinking about that - we will come back to how to indicate you would like to participate in early October.
BUT --- we also want to sing the choruses and hymns and spiritual songs that have been most meaningful to you in terms of expressing thankfulness to God - and so I invite you to either write out that special song and put it in the basket which will be on the communion table for the next couple of weeks OR send me an email with it [ pastor@bethelbiblechurch.ca ]
I will work with the worship team in shaping that service so that we can have a very special thanksgiving service this year.
Please give this some thought and send in your beloved thanksgiving song title or first line.
