As the world continues to adapt to our current situation and circumstances, so too does Youth
Unlimited/YFC, as we continue to reach out to and support the youth of our community, but we do
it in very different ways than we have in the past. While the method in which we reach out and
connect with youth changes, one thing does not – the reality that all of us, our youth included, now,
more than ever, need connection, support, and most of all – the hope, grace, and strength that
comes from a relationship with Jesus!
Another huge way we are innovating at Youth Unlimited/YFC, is with regards to our annual Ministry Celebration Banquet. Last year, we were thrilled to be able to host our first ever banquet, at the
Libro Community Hall in Clinton. Not only were we able to share the vision of this new ministry for
the youth of Mid-Huron, but we were also able to enjoy a delicious meal, and raise some significant
funds towards starting up this new ministry!
Of course, we’re not able to do this in person this year, due to the current restrictions in place, but
we’re thrilled to offer an alternative to this event. On Saturday November 7th, we’re excited to be
having a Community Dinner & Prayer Tour.
This event will feature:
• A delicious take out meal (Fish & Chips or Fried Chicken with fries – both provided by Moore
Catering) for you and your family/friends to enjoy in the comfort of your own homes.
• A route and list of places we can specifically be praying about for our community during
these strange and difficult times.
• An opportunity to make a donation towards the ministry of Youth Unlimited/YFC MidHuron.
Meals will be able to be picked up between 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Vanastra Community CRC
Church, along with a map/list of different places that you can visit to be intentionally praying for!
